Art & Photography
We have installed an outside lift so that visitors in wheelchairs or who prefer not to climb stairs have the opportunity to enjoy our historic home.
Art & Photography
The Gorge White House is proud to feature local art inside our historic home. We have original and poster photographs by our favorite local photographer, Peter Marbach. Each month we feature a new artist in our gallery. Please visit “Our Artists” and “Events” page to see whose work is being displayed. We host an artist reception with complimentary wine tasting the first Sunday afternoon of each new month to promote our featured artist.

Cheese & Meats: We carry artisan cheeses from Willamette Valley Cheese in Salem, Oregon and hand crafted sausage from Debbie Ds in Tillamook, Oregon.

Chocolate: Dark chocolate and wine anybody? Ours are from Katrina who handcrafts her chocolate right here in the Hood River Valley.

Dried Fruit & Jams:  We carry wonderful local jams with Oregon’s
famous marionberries & huckleberries from Apple Valley.
Fabulous dried pears, cherries and apples from Peggy at Country Girl

Flowers: Flowers, flowers and more flowers. For every occasion or just because you like them!

Fruit: Fresh local fruit in season. Apples, berries, cherries, peaches, pears, tomatoes & more.

Fruit Labels: We carry a selection of our favorite antique fruit labels which are an art form in themselves. No reproductions – ever!

Gourmet Sauces:  Our own D’Anjou Pear Vinegar, Pear Walnut Sauce and truly sinfully delicious pour able chocolate sauces.

Wine: We offer wines from all Columbia Gorge wineries – one stop shopping  at the “chamber of commerce of Gorge wine” – by the taste, by the glass or by the bottle. We offer up to 18 different wines for tasting on a daily basis,  giving our guests the opportunity to compare different Columbia Gorge wines at one convenient location. There is a tasting fee for each wine sample.

We have 31 acres of fields and orchards and have been in continuous operation as a fruit orchard since 1902. We welcome guests into our fields and have flowers, strawberries, blueberries and table grapes available for u-pick.

We have beautiful views of our treasured mountains, Hood and Adams. There are sweeping vistas of the valley’s east hills and Pine Grove orchards. Enjoy our relaxing and fragrant patio gardens with a glass of Columbia Gorge wine or microbrew with your friends. We believe we live in a truly unique and beautiful place. We welcome the opportunity to share it with you.

In addition to these crops grown on our land, we support our fellow farmers and carry fresh local fruit in season such as peaches, nectarines, berries, cherries and Asian pears. Please check our Home Page for availability.
