Open for the Season!  The Gorge White House opens for the 2012 season. We open Friday through Monday from 10:00 until 6:00 in April. Come enjoy our spring flowers, locally grown pears and apples, fabulous Columbia Gorge wines and craft beers!

April 7

Artist Reception for Nick Bielemeier
Come welcome local photographer, Nick Bielemeier from 1-3. Nick will be our featured artist in the “Green Room” throughout 2012. He is doing tremendous work with the Hood River Historical Society, preserving the images of barns and buildings throughout the county. We will dedicate the “Green Room” to Nick’s work. Complimentary wine tasting.

6th Annual Gorge Artists Open Studios

Raise your glass and join the staff of The Gorge White House at this premier event held in the heart of wine and pear country. Highlights include live music, wine tasting, great food, fruit exhibits with samples and local artisans. Bartlett and stark crimson pears are harvested mid August. U-pick blueberries, flowers. Flowers will be at their peak with dahlias, sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias, snapdragons and more!

Judi does unique and beautiful fabric and textile art. Come meet her on Sunday, August 5th at The Gorge White House from 1:00-3:00. Complimentary wine will be served.

Gravenstein Apple Celebration at The Gorge White House
Gravenstein apples are considered “the best” by many bakers and cooks for pies, applesauce and desserts. The Gravenstein season is early and short. May people seeking these great apples often arrive too late in the Hood River Valley to find them. Please check ‘Our Blog” at for availability!

The ninth annual Hood River Hops Fest features more than 25 Northwest breweries, each offering a fresh hop and signature brew. The event in downtown Hood River includes live music, delicious local food, art vendors and a kid's zone. Stop by and see us at The Gorge White House for a taste of some of our local craft beers!

Our last artist reception for the 2012 season! Karen creates unusual and wonderful monotype prints. We invite you to take time to meet Karen at The Gorge White House from 1-3 in the afternoon. Complimentary wine tasting.

Harvest Fest at The Gorge White House
Join our harvest celebration at The Gorge White House with an abundance of freshly harvested pears, apples, table grapes and flowers – or pick them yourselves! Sample our products and taste our wine!

Heirloom Apple Celebration at The Gorge White House
Join us and other Fruit Loop member farms for a taste of the way an apple should be! We feature several Heirloom apples from our farm for sampling. Fruit, flowers, art, wine and more all in a historic home on a century old working farm.
